Impact of Active Listening

Active Listening is perhaps one of the greatest secrets to true empathy. Active Listening can provide someone struggling with tremendous value, as it allows them to solve their own difficulties in the company of a caring empathic listener. When someone feels heard, an emotional burden is lifted and they feel less stressed and confused.
Impact of Active Listening

You are someone who has been struggling in silence, or you are someone looking for guidance on how to support a friend, colleague or family member living with mental health challenges.

Now imagine there is a safe place where you have someone to listen, talk and empathise with you. This is where the role of an Active Listener begins.

As an Active Listener you can help others to build the confidence they need to take the first step, ask the first question and support them when they need it.
