Active Listening is one of the greatest secrets to true empathy.
When someone feels heard and understood, an emotional burden is lifted and they feel supported. Through trust and empathy we can begin to make the greatest impact.

Read MorePerspective, I believe many leaders who "think" themselves as leaders and good active listeners can really learn from this presentation, there is much to glean. It sends a positive message, but also a tone of self awareness and mindfulness in how we engage people. Many can learn from that, it only takes a moment to be kind, listen and be engaged with healthy boundaries. Well done.

Read MoreI liked the combination of text, video, quizzes and webinars. The webinars reinforced the information learnt in the first section and also highlighted some areas that I needed to work on and be aware of in regard to on-line counselling. The course was interesting, well presented and easy to read. There was plenty of information about gaining trust and building rapport, but it would have been helpful to have some information on how to end conversations, especially for people who communicate for too long or too often.
